Keri Hilson's NEW album dropped in stores today: December 21 2010. A couple big names expected to be heard on the track list: Chris Brown, J-cole, Rick Ross, Kanye West.
Titled "No Boys Allowed." you just absolutely gotta love the concept and title of this album.
Although I have not yet gave the album a listen.. the title alone was alluring enough!!
Keri Hilson boldly states: "NO BOYS ALLOWED!" as if taking the initative to filter out all the boys excluding the boys from the Men...
BRAVO! Miss Hilson- I LOVE IT!!

Excuse me, while I borrow this catchy concept to adapt into my life in 2011..

A NEW ROMANCE!!

We had a romance.
Him and I.
To say the very least, it was a love extravaganza that stretched out a couple years.
A Good thing with a great start; off to a rough end
Heart-ache and pain replaced what use to be blissful feelings of joy.
They told me "everything happens for a reason"- BUT for leaving me stuck in my steps, feeling lost with no direction, WHAT DA **** COULD BE THE REASON FOR THIS????
feelin as if i had only been looking forward on this journey of love, Never once looking back. The distracting illusion of our future looked so bright.
Now, lost as if my "love-compass" that once pointed me into all the right directions just died.
feelin so many emotions but just couldn't pLace my finger on it, to pLace a title on it. feeling Like there’s so much i want to say but lost all the words for it.
Looked to the dictionary for the perfect word to perfectly describe how in-perfectly i was feeling but webster had no cLue.

EVENTUALLY.... I H-E-A-L-E-D

ive realized the end of one relationship has been the beginning of a much greater one.

i can dance in this ocean pool of romance not needing to test the water first and only daring to go knee-high because this is a romance that i can dive right into
he knows my FRAGILE heart and exactly what its been through; therefore he knows the worthy man whenever he shall come along that will be worthy of giving my heart to
and in this romance, God won’t give my heart to any ol-man
so now i can dance with God with my heart at peace in HIS HANDS.

I havent visited in so long! i have gotten so busy the last couple months juggling school, work, family, spiritual activity, and SOMEwhat of a love life.. not to mention the consuming hours spent on social networking websites. CUPID's HOLIDAY

Now... i dont know if we ALL are going to be decked out in PINK & RED on February 14but valentines day is just a few days away... so im dedicating this post to Cupid's holiday!!

The little naked baby boy with pampers that flys around this time of year with a love arrow looking for the RIGHT suckkas to strike in the back simply for his amusement.
Now Weather or not Cupid striked you this year, the holiday is approaching and im sure the valentines day aisle at your local grocery store reminded you of it plenty of times when you walked in this week..

FACE IT- cupid aint gone do it for all of us so we got to do some love striking on our own.
So IM HERE to take "some" of the stress off of thee lovers shoulders with the help of some friends that came up with a few helpful tips: (ENJOY)

VDAY TIP 1: DO - something (dammit ANYTHING)!! (it doesnt have to be MAJOR. simply a cozy evening spent with mr/mrs. special eating cookies, sipping hot coco and giving each other back rubs under a blanket will do..

VDAY TIP 2: DO - think outside the box...
*** Bonus Tip for the lover boys: although, flowers & candy MAYBE nice, they just scream to her: "i didnt know what else to get you SO I GOT YOU THIS (*shrug)"
now.. she may smile and say thank you BUUUUUUT truth is every lady loves originality, newness, and (whatever the opposite of typical is)..

VDAY TIP 3 : LINGERIE!, LINGERIE!, LINGERIE!... even for my ladies that may be faithful FANs of the hanes white tee for sleep wear, TRUST ME, I AM a HANES girl TOO!!!... but give the set of white tee's a break for one night! (i will be saying, "see you after feb 15th hanes white tee")
